Steady growth prospects despite the global economic downturn
Dear Customers, shareholders and stakeholders supporting Tamna Air,
The year of the black tiger of 2022, which symbolizes abundance, hope, and new opportunities and has been running ceaselessly, is also passing. Despite the global economic downturn, the domestic and international Revenue Passenger Kilometers (RPKs) are expected to recover to 93 percent and 44 percent of 2019 respectively, and the world's Freight Tonne Kilometers (FTK) is expected to increase by 24 percent compared to 2019. Although the demand for passenger transportation is expected to recover due to the implementation of national policies following the stable supplies of vaccines, every airline industry is still experiencing a tough time because of the COVID-19.
Establishing the mid and long-term growth fundamental through cooperative projects
But even in this environment, 2022 will be an important year for Tamna Air to take on the big challenge to become a sustainable company. The Tamna Air business will focus on building a fundamental for growth. It plans to collect future information by issuing company magazines combining the travel and airline industry trends of Korea, China and Southeast Asia and the political and economic issues of each country and focus on developing routes and products. The new project to create a new axis of aviation will further strengthen the mid to long-term growth fundamental through collaborative projects with domestic and foreign partners. The pilot operation license education and small aircraft tourism business are the future growth engines of Korea and Tamna Air, and we will try our best to expedite the schedule for tangible results. Tamna Air will further accelerate its global projects in conjunction with the aviation operations department of each univerisity. We plan to continue to explore new growth opportunities by discovering new businesses that our society demands.
